When it comes to custom metal fabrication, it never ceases to amaze us at what people come up with. Sy McGlouphlin owner of SJ Rocks, Inc.
approached us with one of the more unusual requests as of late. A banyan tree for the San Diego Botanical Gardens new Children's Garden
required an I-beam construction frame to hang the concrete which eventually became what you see here. An interesting side note, all the foliage
you see is real. Hundreds of drip-irrigation lines and planter 'pockets' had to be run within the framework of the tree to allow the authentic look
